This is again, inspired by a short story From Ted Chiang’s book ‘Stories of your life and others’ - ‘Liking what you see’, also by the modern-day beauty standards. It is an interesting thought experiment on how it would affect society if you could erase the perception of beauty with some sort of implant, which in most places you could turn on and off as you wish.

In my opinion, although I would support the priority and expectation to be changed, any perspective gained through blinding someone’s vision would be temporary and have consequences.
