DEAR HUMAN
Dear Human is a project dedicated to the brave and beautiful act of writing love letters. We are inspired by the legacy of the traditional letter writers of Southeast Asia, who once sat on busy street corners to help a largely illiterate population bridge the gap between their hearts and their loved ones through ink.
Ironically, in today’s world of instant AI and digital noise, we face a new kind of "illiteracy", the loss of our ability to slow down and speak our own truths. Research from the University of Tokyo shows that the physical rhythm of writing by hand on paper triggers deeper brain activity and emotional connection than a screen ever could. By returning to this hand eye coordination, we invite you to reclaim your voice, speak directly from your heart, and bridge the distance between us one handwritten word at a time.
